General Overview[]
Korben Flynn entered Starfleet at the earliest age allowed. He is a genius with a aptitude for technology. His primary interest is applied/theoretical physics, computer theory and xenotechnology. He is a technical and software expert with a Masters Degree in Computer Theory and Physics. He spent several years in the information operations branch of Starfleet before getting his first shipboard assignment. At the time, Lieutenant Flynn was found to have natural leadership ability and a keen mind for command so he underwent Starfleet Command training. After years of outstanding service in the Federation he was eventually put in command as Captain of the U.S.S. Sentinel.
Strengths & Weaknesses[]
Strengths - Flynn is very intelligent, quick witted, and a fast thinker. He has a natural flair for leadership and command. He is a fairly skilled pilot and has basic away team training. Flynn also seems to handle stress very well.
Weaknesses - Flynn has a tendency to over think things. He is very analytical and logical thinker to the point of being over analytical. He also feels a minor disassociation with people. He also has a strong sense of curiosity which sometimes overrides his common sense.

Flynn is constantly seeking to enrich his knowledge of tech and also strives to be the best Starfleet officer he can be.

Biography[]
Korban Flynn was born in the lunar colony Tycho City on Earth's moon. He lived there until he was permitted to join Starfleet. During his first year in Starfleet his parents died during a shuttle accident. He was accepted into the Science Branch and specialized in Computer Theory and Physics. He spent his first few years after graduation as information operations and spent most of his time in Starfleet HQ. When assigned his first ship tasking aboard the U.S.S. Gibson he displayed a natural ability at leadership and command and eventually underwent Starfleet Command training. He then served as the first officer of the Gibson for several years. After a successful career with several commendations Korben Flynn was eventually made captain of the U.S.S. Sentinel.
